On Friday 4th Sept, we had a visit from the Dynamic Earth team as part of the 2015 Science Festival. They came to talk to us about fossil fish finding in Orkney and Caithness. We learned about Hugh Miller - a fossil detective and the long-vanished Lake Orcadie!
It was fascinating to find out what the area around us looked like millionsof years ago. Many thanks to the Dynamic Earth team for a very interesting afternoon.
