Visit to KGS Concerning the Rights of the Child

On Monday 17th May all the P7s in Orkney visited KGS to improve our awareness of the rights of children. Not only was it good to visit the school we will be attending in August, but also we met some of the first year pupils. We were divided into groups and were assigned one first year pupil as our leader. Each group then received a different task concerning rights of the child. This involved much discussion and co-operation.

It was a great day and we even had lunch in the new cafeteria.
